School Trip week

This week we went to St Albans Cathedral on a school trip. When we got back we learnt how to write a letter and we wrote thank you letters in our English sessions.

In Topic we used our William Morris designs to make our printing tile. The prints were fantastic and Mrs Byrne thought they were Year 2 work.

In PSHE we are thinking about staying safe. This week we thought about medicines and liquids.

Lots of writing!

This week Oak Class have been working hard in English. They have produced non-chronological reports about India and written the story of the Three Little pigs. Finally today they had a chance to write their own creative story. Well done Oak Class I was very impressed with the progress you have made in your writing. Mrs Tavender

NSPCC Number Day

This week at school we have been learning about India. We learnt facts and then in  English we wrote the facts down so that next week we can write a non-chronological report.

Today has been NSPCC number day. We wore clothes that have numbers on them and we spent some time solving number problems. We have also been learning about money this week and added money together to make a total.

We have also been thinking about people who are important to us and the jobs that people do.

Reminder
No school on Friday the 10th because it is an Inset Day.
